It's time to rev up the excitement and enjoy a morning of networking with like minded people, interesting conversations and scrumptious food in the 'fast lane'. Our July Women In Tourism breakfast is being held at Brock's Garage, which celebrates an Australian legend and daring pioneer, Peter Brock. Please see following additional details relating to our upcoming breakfast:
Address: Dreamworld (Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera)
Function Room: Our breakfast will be held in Brock's Garage
Parking: Complimentary parking is available. For ease we recommend you park near the Main Entrance
Our Guest Speaker this month is Cortnie Dawn, BeD. Cortnie is the founder of her future, is a teacher and a previous Public Health Advisor. As a teacher Cortnie realised that there often isn't enough time to teach life lessons and skills within schools and yet they are fundamental to dealing with life and its challenges. Cortnie places a strong importance on educating women to ensure they have a better foundation to make good decisions as well as have better direction in who they want to be and what they want to do in life.
Cortnie's goal is to educate women by going through relevant content, giving them tangible tools and having open discussions to help them think for themselves, build confidence and get the most out of their life. Following this breakfast we hope you will walk away feeling empowered, confident and can achieve whatever you put your mind to.
This months five minute speaker is Roxanne Maddison who is the founder of Stillness in the City.
Roxanne realised that there was a tremendous need for these services in the workplace, and made it her goal to bring positive change to as many Australian workplaces as possible and bringing corporate wellness solutions into fruition. Having Thai Buddhist relations her introduction to meditation began at quite an early age. Roxanne is a vibrant, passionate speaker sharing her light on this subject matter in a simplistic, yet engaging way.
Bring your colleagues or come along solo to enjoy networking within a comfortable and relaxed setting.
Amazing raffle items will be available for purchase with all proceeds being donated to our valued local charities.
Please note, Women in Tourism is a not-for-profit organisation and is not required to pay GST. The receipt generated at time of purchase is the only documentation we are able to provide.
We look forward to seeing you at Dreamworld on Friday, 7th July.
